What you will be doing

As a Workflow Engineer, your mission is to be the primary architect and implementer of automated processes, translating complex business needs into efficient and robust technical workflows. You will be a key player in enhancing the operational efficiency of our teams and potentially client-facing solutions, bridging strong business understanding with hands-on technical building.
  • Process Digitalisation & Automation Design: Lead the discovery and analysis of existing business processes across Berlin Bytes, Kambria, and internal teams to identify key pain points and opportunities for automation. Design efficient, scalable, and resilient digital workflows.
  • Hands-on Workflow Implementation: Develop, configure, and implement automation workflows using low-code/no-code platforms, with a primary focus on n8n. This includes connecting various APIs, data sources, and services.
  • Technical Problem Solving & Building: Actively engage in "vibe coding" and hands-on building, troubleshooting complex integration challenges, and creatively solving technical hurdles to ensure seamless workflow execution.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Embed with diverse teams, collaborating closely with business stakeholders, developers, and project managers to gather requirements, ensure alignment, and facilitate smooth adoption of automated solutions.
  • Autonomous & Team-Oriented Delivery: Demonstrate the ability to work independently on workflow solutions, owning the problem-solving and implementation, while also seamlessly integrating into larger project teams as needed.
  • Documentation & Optimisation: Create clear and comprehensive documentation for all implemented workflows and integrations. Continuously monitor workflow performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimisations for maximum efficiency and reliability.
