QA Tester (Working Student)

Intern / Student, Part-time · Berlin

What you will be doing
We're on the lookout for a QA Tester (Working Student) to join our team. As our software detective, you'll dive into our software, sniff out bugs, and make sure our customers get the best experience possible.

  • Executing Tests: You'll run your well-laid tests, manually or with automation tools, to find any defects hiding in our software.
  • Reporting Bugs: When you find a bug (because we know you will), you'll document it so our developers can squash it.
  • Retesting After FixesYou'll retest the software after bugs have been fixed, ensuring they're really gone and haven't left any unwelcome surprises.
  • Performance and Security Testing: You'll be our guard dog for software performance and security, making sure our software can handle the pressure and keeps our users' data safe.
  • Documentation: You'll document your epic bug-hunting journey, sharing your tales of triumph (a.k.a test results) with the team.

About us
We are Berlin Bytes. We are young and creative, we value diversity and freedom of expression — you’ve probably heard it from every single Berlin based digital agency though. What makes us different is the way we collaborate with each other and our partners. Since we offer full-cycle digital services (from UX/UI Design, Web Development to Marketing and Product Ownership) to our clients, we approach each job as our own in-house project.

You can expect to dive deep into a great number of industries — our spectrum of clients ranges from upcoming Berlin Fashion Start-Ups to large Corporate Infrastructure Providers. This allows us to provide you with a great diversity of projects that matches your skills and aspirations.

We've got two office spaces at the border of Prenzlauer Berg and Friedrichshain. Berliners know these two neighbourhoods as a young-professionals-turned-parents borough and an alternative-Boxy-Techno-scene place. And we are happy to say we are both. We are where family meets party, where free spirit meets structured approach, where experience meets curiosity.
